I have experience from all sides of the newsroom. Below is a mix of my work from both professional settings and academic. You will find PKG samples that highlight my hard news and feature reporting. Anchor Reel
I have anchored Carolina Week, the hard hitting newscast at UNC Chapel Hill for two semesters. Both semesters I auditioned and was selected by industry professionals as one of four anchors. I also anchor a morning talk show and have anchored in the field for a special on Hurricane Helene aftermath. Highlights from all these experiences are compiled here.
Director Sample
I direct a live control room for Sports Xtra each week. This particular episode included a completely new control room who I helped train in their roles to make this episode a success.
Producer Sample
I am the founder, executive producer, and anchor of a morning talk show and class called Rise and Shine with Sami and Sunni. I am the biweekly producer for each live Thursday morning episode. Our first fall episode is highlighted here with a “game day” theme.
